Women of Cannabiz Learning Series: Basics of Cannabis

Learn the basics of this versatile and healing plant in a daylong course intended to educate and inspire participants in its many uses. We'll cover cannabis biology and its interactions with the endocannabinoid system, as well as an introduction to seeds and growing cannabis. Lunch included!

We'll kick off the day with an interactive presentation on cannabis biology and the endocannabinoid system by Stephanie Boucher of Cannabotanicals, and plenty of opportunity for Q&A afterwards. Then we'll break for a specially prepared lunch at 12:30, created by local professional chef Jillian Austin. Participants are encouraged to explore the property, take a walk, bask in sunshine, get to know people, or anything else you feel like doing! After our break, we'll return to the afternoon session, taught by cultivation experts Kennet Dall and Denise Stubbs, on seeds and the basics of growing cannabis, including soil preparation, germination, light requirements, seeds and clones. We wrap at 4:30 with a mini-networking hour, refreshments and an opportunity to mingle and network.
