The Lake Champlain Maritime Museum Half Marathon is this Saturday, May 12 @ 8am @ Basin Harbor, Vergennes, Vt.
This is a brand new half marathon on the beautiful grounds of Basin Harbor Resort and Boat Club and the surrounding farmlands. This course is gorgeous and limited to ONLY 200 runners! In addition to its beauty, this course will become a favorite because it is relatively flat. Where there is an elevation gain, you're going to LOVE the long gentle down hills!
This race will benefit the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. A portion of your entry fee goes to the Education for All fund for scholarships providing access for all to LCMM's wonderful education programs!
Optional donations and/or fundraising is also encouraged. For a minimum donation of $10, racers will receive a day pass to the museum, plus a 20% discount to the Red Mill Restaurant at Basin Harbor for the day of or day after the race. The racer who raises/donates the greatest amount above $250 will receive a shipwreck tour for two on the Escape..
All participants receive a finishers medal.
Online registration is closed. There is race day registration at Lake Champlain Maritime Museum 7:00am-7:45am this Saturday.
The course- Start at LCMM, Basin Harbor, Button Bay Rd, Panton Rd, Basin Harbor Rd back to LCMM.
