Summer weather often means schedules get more flexible and maybe there's even more travel on the agenda. It's also a time when it gets harder to motivate and get to the studio for your favorite yoga classes. One way to still keep your yoga practice going strong is to develop a home practice.
Join us Thursdays 4-5pm May 10- June 14th and learn a home yin yoga practice which is a great complement to all the renewed activities you'll be doing like hiking, biking, gardening, tennis, golfing, etc. Yin yoga is an effective practice for keeping your joints young and healthy as you pick up the pace with recreation that puts a bit more wear and tear on the body. It's also very portable and easily adaptable to time limits.
This 6-class series at Yoga Roots will teach you a deeper understanding of the poses and their effects on your body and energy meridians. We'll even try a few of the more challenging poses that we don't do in regular group classes. Jen Peterson will support you in developing a home practice and provide you with 3 sequences that you can practice and modify to do on your own--anytime and anywhere.
