Learn how to develop a dramatic still life painting from beginning to end. Award-winning artist Gary Eckhart will conduct a workshop that explores selecting, arranging and lighting the items you'd like to paint, then capturing the arrangement on paper or canvas. During the first part of the workshop, he'll guide you through the important initial steps of the painting process, then you'll put your new skills to work. The session will be an amazing learning opportunity and a great deal of fun.

The workshop is open to both oil and watercolor painters, but you should have some proficiency in your chosen medium. Whichever your medium, this will be a "bold-brush" experience, so if you work in oil, bring canvas or panels no smaller than 16"x 20"; if you work in watercolor, your paper should be no smaller than 15"x 22". Watercolor paper will be available for purchase at the workshop.
