The Vermont Philharmonic presents its annual Spring Concert series on Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 PM at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph and Sunday, May 6 at 2 PM at the Barre Opera House. With Lou Kosma as Conductor, the Vermont Philharmonic will perform "Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Op. 56" by Johannes Brahms and the "Scandinavian Suite for Solo Viola and Strings" by Frank Foerster (also as the viola soloist). The orchestra will also perform "Missa in Augustiis {Nelson Mass}" by Franz Joseph Haydn and featuring Stephanie Leotsakos (soprano), Elizabeth Perryman (soprano), Adam Hall (tenor)and Thomas Beard (baritone). The concert will also feature the Randolph Singers with Marjorie and M. Dickey Drysdale as Directors. Tickets are $20 Adults, $15 Seniors and $5 Students and are available at the door or in advance online at www.vermontphilharmonic.com and www.barreopera house.org (Sunday).
