HomeShare Information Program At Jeudevine Library: Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7 PM

An information session about home sharing will be held at the Jeudevine Memorial Library in Hardwick on Thursday, February 6 at 7 PM.

People often want to stay in their homes but find it difficult. HomeShare Vermont helps people stay in their homes by connecting them with potential housemates who are looking for a place to live or caregivers interested in jobs. Although their primary goal is to help elders stay at home, they have found that people of all ages and abilities can benefit from homesharing and caregiving.

There are no age, ability or income restrictions to HomeShare services. This organization takes a lot of the anxiety out of finding the right person to live or work with by drawing exclusively from a pool of carefully screened applicants. Clients get to meet recommended matches before committing to anyone. And, there is a two-week “trial” period to make sure the match is a good one.

Light refreshments will be served. For more information call the library at 472-5948.
