Exploring Adobe Photoshop
These 3 classes (May 8, May 15 and May 22 ) are available as separate lessons unto themselves and are complementary to each other.
LEARN HOW TO PHOTOSHOP LIKE A PRO IN ONLY 2 HOURS!
Have you ever seen an image and wondered "How'd they do that?" Have you captured a priceless moment in a photograph that just doesn't look that great? Do you have a business that you would like to promote visually? Maybe you'd like to get better at typography? Would you enjoy an image of your cat playing the drums? ...Then this class is for you.
Multimedia artist Shaun Machia leads a fun workshop-oriented class that appeals to all levels of experience.
What to bring:
Any laptop or portable computer with Photoshop or the 7 day free trial.
Your own project/photo/agenda.
What you will go home with:
Cheat sheets of the basic tools, commands and vocabulary
Actions (files that apply all the operations of a complicated procedure with a single click)
Practice images and project files.
Each class begins a brief explanation of the cheat-sheet material: how to open, place, resize and save files as well as where to find your tools. Next is image analysis, how to identify what should be improved, altered or removed from an image. The instructor will demonstrate procedures on the big screen as the group follows along. Individuals with specific image issues will be addressed separately and each participant is encouraged to have unique goals during the 2 hr session.
By creating an environment that nurtures the individual's creativity, interests and level of experience, this class will step-up your graphic design and photo editing game. By providing course materials that alone are worth the registration price, students will leave each class with new realms of possibility to explore.
