"So You Think You Want to Write Historical Fiction: It's Not for the Faint of Heart"

Join Angela Moody, author of No Safe Haven, in a discussion of the art and process of writing historical fiction. Angela Moody is currently working on a new book, entitled The Belle of Oyster Bay, due out in late 2018.

BIOGRAPHY

Angela Moody lives in Essex Junction with her husband, Jim and their cat, Billy. Their son, Stephen and his wife, Amanda live nearby. Daughter Alison is a law student at Rutgers University.
Angela has been writing short stories and novels from an early age, always in the historic fiction genre where she feels she shines.

One of her passions is crochet. From the time she learned the craft, she was "hooked". She loves reading, writing, and spending time with her family. One of the items on her bucket list is to visit every civil war battlefield site at the time of year each battle took place.

No Safe Haven is her first novel and she has plans for two other historical fiction novels as part of a three-book set entitled "Young American Heroines." She has recently been tasked to write a series of young readers on the life and times of Ethan and Fanny Allen.

Angela is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and the Scribes244 and Scribes 232 critique groups.
