The Jeudevine Memorial Library and the Woodbury Community Library host a community informational forum and discussion about local opioid abuse on Wed. April 25 at 7 PM at the Memorial Building in Hardwick. Panelists include Hardwick Chief of Police Aaron Cochran, Jeri Wohlberg, Family Nurse Practitioner at the Hardwick Health Center, and other health professionals. How extensive is opioid use? Why has this become a crisis? How is this issue currently addressed in our community? Where can treatment be found, and how effective is treatment? What are predictions for the future?
The evening will include a range of information, treatment options, and time for audience questions and answers. The Memorial Building is the Hardwick Town Office Building located at 20 Church Street.
