In 1975, Carole King put it to music....and... on Saturday, February 1st at 10:00 at Hyde Park Elementary School Gymnasium, the Lamoille Family Center, Lanpher Memorial Library and Morrisville Rotary invite families to attend: A Chicken Soup with Rice Literacy Event!
All children who attend will get to choose at least 1 FREE brand new book to keep. There will be a sing-a-long with local musician, Lesley Grant.
MoCo is donating a tureen of their comforting chicken soup with rice, and we'll have a "taste test" chart for those who wish to sample.
A "Chicken Soup with Rice" StoryWalk® will be set up...and we'll have some other surprises in store as well.
What better way to chase away the mid-winter blues?
