Pick out your best green running clothes and join RaceVermont.com for our first Leprechaun Dash 5K/10K! There will be a pot of gold at the finish line for the first male and first female finishers of both the 5K and the 10K races and you won't believe what's inside! Each of our first place overall finishers (all 4 of them) will win FREE RACE ENTRIES FOR THE 2018 RACE SERIES! We'll also have the same prize for one lucky winner of our post-race random drawing, so all of our racers have a chance to win! The 2nd, 3rd and 4th place overall winners will also receive a prize (see below) as well as 1st place in each age category.
Celebrate your finish after the race in the Field House Sports Bar with a beer (or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice) included in your race registration. Photo IDs will be required.
It's too late to order a t-shirt at this point, but any previously shirts not picked up will be available for sale following the race.
The route- An out-and-back course for the 5K and 10K runners. All racers will leave Shelburne Field House at 9am and run out to Harbor Rd. The 5K runners will turnaround just before Shelburne Farms. The 10k runners will turnaround after the S turn on Harbor Rd. All racers should be off Harbor Rd by 11:00am.
Shelburne Police will be positioned at the corners of Athletic/Harbor, Harbor/Bay Rd, and the S turn on Harbor. Many thanks to Shelburne Recreation and residents of Shelburne for the use of town roads.
