Joni Cole Returns for Another Writing Workshop

Past event
Mar 24, 2018, 10 AM to 12 PM

Joni Cole, author, teacher, humorist, workshop leader / cheerleader will be coming back to the Waterbury Public Library. The first "Good Naked" writing workshop was a huge success with participants asking for more. Saturday, March 24th from 10 to noon in the SAL room of the library, Joni will offer up a prompt for creative writing to ensue.

Author of the new release Good Naked: Reflections on How to Write More, Write Better, and Be Happier, Cole debunks common misconceptions of how one should think, act, and be as a writer, exchanging those myths for ideas that feed creativity and productivity. The "Good Naked" part comes as participants share what they have just written.

Author and writing teacher Joni B. Cole has spent much of her career helping people write more, write better, and enjoy a more productive and positive creative process. She believes there is a writer in anyone who chooses to follow that path, and that writing and sharing our stories is not only personally meaningful, but one of the most powerful forms of social activism.
