Join philosopher and herbalist Chuck Riffenburg for a discussion on Taoism, herbal energetics, and the age old concepts of feminine and masculine as they are manifest in the natural world, Wednesday, March 28th from 6:30-8 pm at the Waterbury Public Library. The workshop will explore the Taoist concepts of yin and yang and how they relate to the universal concepts of feminine and masculine, and look at the way in which these energies manifest themselves in the natural world, through plants, animals, and other natural phenomena. According to Riffenburg, understanding these energies is key to understanding herbal medicine and how we can shift our constitution using the appropriate herbs.
