Try out winter hiking with experienced Green Mountain Club leaders and join our great community for a fun-filled day at GMC in Waterbury Center (4711 Waterbury-Stowe Rd). There will be guided group hikes, winter skills workshops, snowshoe demos from Umiak Outdoor Outfitters, kids’ activities, and a bonfire all day. Then stay for the après party with food and drinks sponsored by The Pizza Joint and Idletyme Brewing, and a big raffle!

The workshops include: shelter making, winter preparedness, animal tracking, and wildlife adaptations. Guided hikes will be headed to Stowe Pinnacle, up the Notch Road, to Taylor Lodge to name a few. Check out the website for timing: https://www.greenmountainclub.org/winter-trails-day/
