On the Saturdays of February 17th, 24th and March 3rd and 10th Waterbury Center Community Church will host Dialogues on Race at 2 p.m.
These dialogues are based on challenging videos and perspectives from scholars and activists from a series called Vital Conversations produced by the United Methodist Church. The purpose of having these dialogues is twofold: 1) To learn how to have respectful dialogue on issues that matter but are controversial, so that we can grow our community through peaceful encounters; 2) To learn how we might move forward, especially in a very white state and community, on the 'race question.'
Each week will be a different video and different focus of dialogue but always with the same theme.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 244-6286 or e-mail Pastor John at jlucy.wilde@gmail.com.
