Join the Burlington Business Association (BBA) for their Annual Business Summit on Thursday, January 11th from 7:30-11am at Vermont Energy Investment Corporation's offices, located at 128 Lakeside Avenue, Suite 401, Burlington, VT 05401.

EVENT DETAILS & REGISTRATION: https://bbavt.z2systems.com/np/clients/bbavt/event.jsp?event=523&
The Summit is $45 for BBA Members, $65 for non-members.

This year's event will include a keynote address from Jeff Olson, Principal of Alta Planning and Design. Jeff Olson is an architect, planner, and author who has been involved in open space, active living, and alternative mobility projects for more than 25 years. Jeff speaks nationally on the impacts of changing forms of transportation, and is familiar with Burlington through personal connections and professional partnerships in the area, including working with UVM on their new Active Transportation plan.

For Burlington to thrive, increasing our transportation options and supporting our city's adoption of new modes is key to growing sustainably. We should be able to place our city at the forefront of a new era of expanding transportation options, but are we there yet? Transportation is changing at a rapid pace, and the impacts on how people will move will affect not only our city's physical spaces such as streets and sidewalks, but also our local economy, our businesses, institutions, and community members' daily lives. Join us to learn more and take part in an interactive dialogue.

Following the Summit, join the BBA & AARP in the evening from 5:30-7:00pm for a community conversation on transportation in Burlington. This will be a follow up to the deep dive into this topic at the BBA Business Summit taking place the same morning. Both events are open to the public.
