The Town Manager prepares a meeting packet for each Selectboard Meeting that includes Agenda Notes and background material for each of the items to be discussed on the agenda, as well as other items of potential interest to Board members that are not part of the formal agenda. Packets are typically published to the website on the Friday night before a Selectboard meeting. Every effort is made to ensure each packet is complete when published, but it is not uncommon for documents to be added to a packet prior to the meeting. The first minutes of every selectboard meeting are reserved for citizen comments. This is an opportunity to bring up a concern on an item not on the agenda or to make an announcement, such as interest in running for elected office.
