The 35 member Vermont Brass Ensemble will present a Brass & Percussion concert, A Salute to the Winter Olympics, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, 7:30 pm in the Univ. of Vermont Recital Hall at the Southwick Music Building, 384 South Prospect St., Burlington, VT 05405- Free Admission. We are a student run brass ensemble made up of majors, non majors, alumni and community members getting together to share our love for brass music. Come join us for a night of brass and percussion music. The group is directed by AJ Banach and Mei Endo, and conducted by Larry Solt. Music on this concert will feature compositions by John Williams, Giovanni Gabrieli, Gustav Holst, Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo, and Alfred Reed.
