Vermont PBS, in partnership with Manchester Community Library, will offer a free preview of Ken Burns and Lynn Novick's ten-part, eighteen hour documentary series, The Vietnam War at the Library. The 60-minute preview will be followed by a panel discussion. Former BBA Social Studies teacher and former Dean of Faculty John Wright will serve as moderator. Panelists include Orland Campbell, Bruce Charbonneau, and Eric Mach.
Six years in the making, the series brings the war and the chaotic epoch it encompassed viscerally to life.
Warning: the preview contains graphic depictions of war and is intended for mature audiences only. Viewer discretion is advised.
