Celebrate the Valley's Great Outdoors! The Mad River Path Association will have a holiday celebration on Saturday, December 9 from 5-6:30 pm at the new Mad River Taste Place in Irasville! There are big changes coming to the Path in the Irasville shopping district, connecting to great businesses there and all the way to downtown Waitsfield. No fee. All guests will receive a free raffle ticket for a Holiday Gift Basket full of Vermont products (must be present to win drawing at 6 pm). And there will be Vermont food vendors there providing tasting opportunities. Join us, see the maps and drawings of how we can create more walkable, bikeable places where we shop, dine, entertain and work, and celebrate the Valley's Christmas season. If the snow gods bless us, we will snowblow the Path all the way to the Big Pic, including the great new wetlnds boardwalk, with some seasonal fire buckets en route.
