Free Home Weatherization Workshop - Thurs. Nov. 16
Is it finally time to weatherize your drafty house? Are you always cold at home in winter, and tired of knowing your hard earned money is going out the window?
If so, you should attend the Button Up Home Weatherization Workshop on Thursday, November 16 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in Waterbury.
This free event is hosted by the volunteers of Waterbury LEAP. During the workshop you’ll learn from experts about the most common ways homes lose energy, steps you can take to tighten up your house, energy audits, new technologies such as air source heat pumps, and loans and incentives to help get the work done. Enjoy free pizza and drinks, energy-efficiency raffle prizes, and every attendee will get a free LED bulb!
Don’t stay cold this winter. Learn how to warm your house and save money at this free Button Up weatherization workshop Thursday, November 16 from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Steele Community Room in the Waterbury Municipal Center, next to the public library.
