With Thanksgiving drawing near, a heightened awareness of community food shelves can be very beneficial to our community. Every year Essex Rotary addresses food insecurity in Essex, Westford and Jericho by providing financial support for area food shelves.

On November 8th community members are invited to hear to leaders of the Heavenly Food Pantry, including Essex Rotary's very own Rev. Mark Mendes of the First Congregational Church, update the Club on the scope of the food shelf's impact on our communities and highlight the importance of the role played by Essex Rotary members as donors and volunteers.

Essex Rotary welcomes guests at their noon lunch each Wednesday. Please contact Jeff Cabanaw at 802-922-7025 if you wish to attend. Lunch cost is $17.00. Join us to learn about the Heavenly Food Pantry and about Essex Rotary’s mission and members.

The Essex Rotary club encompasses the Towns of Essex, Essex Junction, Jericho, Underhill and Westford.
