Please join us at Stowe Street Cafe on Friday, November 3rd from 6-8pm to celebrate the completion of our most recent project - an art installation on the cafe deck by Waterbury artist, Torrey Smith! Light nibbles will be provided, along with local craft beer & wine available for purchase.
Stowe Street Cafe is thrilled to add Torrey’s three new, large paintings to the exterior wall along Bidwell Lane which will be visible to anyone who walks or drives by the cafe.
The three paintings, each 3 feet tall by 5 feet wide, explore different ways to see and portray the world around us - in this case, by using the same poppy image as a starting point and painting it in three very different ways.
