Join the Mad River Valley Libraries at the Warren Library this Thursday, November 2 at 6:30pm for the final session of our "Climate Change and our Future: Mitigation, Adaptation and Dialogue" series. We will explore ideas around the theme of "Strategy" while discussing a short film and the book "The Water Knife" by Paolo Bacigalupi, although it is not necessary to read it to attend. With a "book club meets science cafe" format, we also welcome NOAA science partner Dr. Les Kanat of Johnson State College to discuss some of the science behind the changes we are seeing in our weather and climate. Although each session focuses on one theme related to this global problem, the overarching message is one of local people, local stories and coming together to enact necessary change.
