The Vermont Symphony Orchestra will present the True Story of Peter and the Wolf at the Waterbury Congregational Church on Sunday, October 29, at 2:00 PM.
This kid-friendly concert includes an introduction of the instruments and several seasonally spooky selections. Special guest
narrator/composer Peter Hamlin has composed some alternate endings for the story, which involve audience participation. Everyone gets a treat for the road.
Audience members (young and old) are urged to come in costume. The musicians will be dressed in their Peter and the Wolf roles. There will be a parade of costumes partway through the performance.
Tickets maybe purchased at Bridgeside books in Waterbury or at the door. Admission: $7 for adults, $5 for children, a family pass for four is $20.
The True Story of Peter and the Wolf is sponsored by the Central VT Friends of the VSO, the Wulff Family, Grenier Enterprises, Darby, Kolter and Nordle LLP
