The Tropical Fish Club of Burlington is hosting a full day tropical fish and aquatic plant auction Oct 29, preview at 11AM, at the Holiday Inn Williston Rd., Burlington. Auctions are always exciting, there are always good bargains, lots of fish and live plants (many not regularly available in pet stores) and new and used aquarium related equipment, fish food and aquariums.
There will also be a 7 class Guppy show, with many entries being included in the auction.

The club also hosts monthly meetings which are held the second Thursday of each month at 6:30PM at the VFW hall on Essex Junction. The monthly meetings are open to the public and a program on an aspect of fishkeeping is presented. The speakers range from local hobbyists to nationally known speakers sharing their knowledge to our local hobbyists. There are free hobby related door prizes, a small auction of hobby related items at each meeting, and there are many discussions about fish & aquatic plants. The Nov 9th meeting will feature Ken Boorman from Ontario, Canada speaking on fish of Australia. The club motto has always been "Meet and learn from others who share your interest!" so please stop by and join the fun!
