The Vermont Philharmonic and Conductor Lou Kosma, in collaboration with the Bel Canto Institute of Florence, Italy, present their annual Opera Gala Concert at Spruce Peak Arts in Stowe this Saturday! This year’s performances will feature operatic music by Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, plus the Fountains of Rome by Respighi and Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto in A Minor. Featured soloists include the Vermont Philharmonic’s new concertmaster, Letitia Quante, violin, and Helle Gössler Christensen, soprano – winner of the 2017 Bel Canto Institute Performance Award.
