We've got a great line-up of music this week, starting with:
Tuesday: Sing-along with Lindsay Wade and her band - Dave Galliard on stand up bass, Tots on horn, Ranger Sean on drum. Sing-along of seasonal tunes and popular standards. 6-8pm
Wed: John Daly Trio 6-8pm. Fresh acoustic group from Central Vermont performing all original music. Heartfelt melodies in a wide-ranging alt-folk-rock blend.
Thursday: Grammy award winning artist, Jim Rooney joins Colin McCaffrey for an encore show this Thursday (12/12). Jim has worked with many great folk artists including Nanci Griffith, John Prine, Iris DeMent, Towns Van Zant, and many others. He not only has an amazing repertoire of old country, folk, and traditional music, he tells some wonderful stories. Jim helped organize the Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals and was a mainstay in the Cambridge music scene in the 60's. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear Jim play his music and weave his tales in the cozy, intimate environment of Bagitos Cafe. Dan Bolles writes of 7 Days calls Jim "one of the most highly regarded folk and country producers alive" and points out that "Roony very rarely performs in his adopted home state". So don't miss out! Friday: Winston Ball 6-8pm. Outlaw country/blues
Saturday: Peter Farber Sax for brunch 11am-1pm and
Irish Session 2-5pm with Sarah Blair, Hilari Farrington Koehler, Benedict Koehler, Katrina VanTyne, and many other talented traditional Irish musicians who fill the cafe with great traditional Irish Tunes every Saturday afternoon.
