Brookfield Bees is planning an apple cider pressing Open House on Sunday October 8th from 11-3pm, 1148 Kibbee Rd in Brookfield. We will be pressing apples we have collected in the Kibbee Rd neighborhood and which have had 7-10 days to develop full sugar and flavor. Our pressing process is creative and unique. As we process many different types of apples together, the flavor of our unpasteurized cider is excellent (and also unique). We will also be boiling cider to make a boiled cider reduction which is great as a glaze for meat, for salad dressings, marinades, as a table syrup, and many other uses.
