The first of two public informational meetings is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26th at 6:30 pm in the gym of the Thatcher Brook Primary School in Waterbury. The Waterbury Police Services study committee will present information on police service options for consideration by members of the community. Your feedback at this meeting will help to guide future actions by the Select Board. Opinion polling will be offered as a means to assess public sentiment regarding the future of police services in Waterbury. The committee recognizes that the evening meeting may not suit some individual schedules, so the second informational meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, October 14th at 2:00 pm, also at the TBPS gym. Both meetings will cover the same information, so please attend either one of the two sessions. Your opinion is important and we look forward to seeing everyone who has an interest in this vital community issue.
