"Little Bands, Big Voices: Singers Take Center Stage in the 1940s" is this weeks lecture sponsored by UVM's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Composer Erik Nielsen will focus on great singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, the Andrews Sisters, and Nat King Cole. He will play their songs and discuss the music of the era.
