Newbury and Bradford Elementary Schools and Oxbow honor students, plus parents, friends, and neighbors from near and far are celebrating International Peace Day on the summit of Tucker Mountain this Thursday, Sept 21.
Here are the details:
9:00 to 11:00 Community members park at the east end of Tucker Mtn. Road and walk alongside Newbury and Bradford Elementary students as they hike to the summit. Be sure to park in the designated area and not in the school bus loading area.
11:00 Lunch at the top of the mountain. Please bring a bag lunch.
11:30-12:00 Ceremony for International Peace with Oxbow honor students
12:00 Aerial photo of the whole group
12:30 Begin hike back to cars
