RALLY FOR THE SCHOOLS OUR CHILDREN DESERVE
What kind of schools do Burlington children deserve? Great schools!
It is my understanding that this is a family friendly rally to show public support for the teachers who are on strike. There will be a couple of speakers. Most teachers choose this profession to serve the students; unfortunately the contract imposed by the school board is not allowing teachers to do what is best for the kids. The strike is about making sure teachers have the resources, services, and time to meet the incredibly diverse needs of all of our kids here in Burlington. Many teachers will be at the rally to answer questions and to say a friendly "Hello" to students and their families. If you care about Burlington schools, teachers, and kids we hope you will attend.
