The Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St is holding its 70th annual Chicken Pie Supper October 4. Reservations are required and can be made by going to www.rccucc.org and selecting the CPS tab or by calling 802-318-5359 between the hours of 6-9 PM. Three seatings will be on the hour at 5, 6 and 7pm; and take-outs will be on the half hour 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30.The prices: adults & takeout, $12; children under 12, $6; and preschool, free. This is a traditional supper to celebrate the fall harvest and season. The fare features chicken & biscuit pie, mashed potatoes, gravy, winter squash, and cole slaw topped off with apple or pumpkin pie w/cheddar cheese.
