This award winning documentary directed by Sam Bozzo is based on the book BLUE GOLD: THE FIGHT TO STOP THE CORPORATE THEFT OF THE WORLD'S WATER by Maude Barlow and Tony Clark. The film examines the problems created by the privatization and commoditization of water. 1 hour 29 minutes Doors open at 6:45 pm and movie starts at 7 pm. Popcorn and beverages served. We chose this film on the them of water to go along with the Black River Action River Sweep, the annual clean up which is scheduled for September 9 and also because we'll be celebrating the start of the church year with our annual water communion on September 10 (10 am). No charge. All welcome!
