Historical Society: Remembering Miss Jean Simpson

Past event
Sep 20, 2017, 7 to 8:30 PM

First, I'm announcing that last month's Historical Society program, which featured remarks about growing up in Craftsbury by Anne Wilson, Paula Massé and Roberta Alexander, has been uploaded to Youtube, and available for viewing. To access the video, go to Youtube, and in the search box type in 'Craftsbury Historical Society', and our growing number of Historical Society videos will come up.
Secondly, we've decided that our next program - on Wednesday, September 20, in the Library at 7 pm, right after the community dinner at the church on the common - will focus on the legacy of Miss Jean Simpson, who left an indelible mark on the town's history. This will be an opportunity for anyone who has a story or anecdote to relate to add it to the public record of just how valuable her lifelong contributions to the town's well-being were. If, for any reason, you have a contribution to make, and can't come that evening, I welcome your being in touch so that we can find a suitable format for making sure that those memories are recorded.
