SHHS PRESENTS: A Kayaker's Guide to Lake Champlain

On September 1st, you are invited to experience a dry kayaking trip around the lake and our islands! Cathy Frank and Margy Holden took two years and circumnavigated the entire lake and got wet. They will share their exciting and sometimes harrowing episodes along with lake history, geology, and geography. We might even get a little insight into "Champ" and the island called "Carlton's Prize!" Come learn how they tried to prepare and deal with the unpredictability of the Vermont weather while mapping and designing wonderful kayaking trips for others.
