Do you believe that every child deserves a strong start? Do you believe that finding and affording quality child care should not be such a struggle for Vermont families? Do you believe that child care providers deserve to make more than minimum wage?
Join Let’s Grow Kids and 1,000 early childhood advocates on October 1st for a flash mob and live concert on the Church Street Marketplace in support of Vermont kids—our future leaders, teachers, thinkers and innovators! The Kids Out Loud! event is free and features our new anthem written by Mister Chris and Kat Wright. Sign up by September 8 to reserve free action hero capes for kids to wear at the event!
The day features a meet-up with live music at the Hood Plant, a parade down the Church Street Marketplace and then, at the top block, a “flash mob” performance of the anthem and concert sing-a-long with Vermont musicians and featured speakers. Coming soon, the new anthem will be available for free download at letsgrowkids.org, along with a video demonstrating the flash mob dance movements. The live event will be filmed and produced into a music video.
WHEN: Sunday, October 1st, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
WHERE: Meet at the Hood Plant parking lot, 187 S Winooski Ave, Burlington
