Past event
Aug 26, 2017, 7:30 to 10 PM

You're invited to dance or listen to swing era and other big band music performed by Green Mountain Swing. The benefit concert and dance will be held at Capital City Grange Hall, 6612 VT-12, Berlin, VT (a mile from Main Street, Montpelier; directions below).

Admission is by tax deductible donation ($15 suggested, $10 for students) and includes a swing dance lesson during intermission! Refreshments will also be available by donation.

We'll perform standards from the 40s, Latin dances, a few vocal numbers, and some soul and rock from the 70s. Dancers should bring clean, soft-soled shoes. Seating is available.

GMS is non-profit, proceeds benefit a Music Scholarship Fund to assist local students with the costs of music lessons and camps. For further information, see www.greenmoutainswing.com, or contact Pierre at cirrus3ps@madriver.com or (802) 496-3764.

Please come dance to exciting live swing music and support local music students. We hope to see you there!
