Come and join us, rain or shine for our 100 Years of celebrating life through creativity and art, 100 years of partnered service to our communities at the beautiful Grand Isle Lake House! The event to raise funds for the Island Arts Youth Scholarship Fund is co sponsored by the Silver Dove Institute with BBQ hosted by the Grand Isle VFW. Doors open at 5:30 for picnicking and the show starts at 6:30PM on Sunday 8/20.
Performing will be South Hero's own Lucia Bird Matarazzo, recipient of the 2017 Priscilla Rose Scholarship for her outstanding creativity and talent in dance. Also performing is Otis Cleveland on flute, Regina Christianson on harp and the Jerome Monachino Jazz Quartet with select members of the US 40th Army Band and poetry reading by Carol Fournier.
No need to bring a picnic as the Grand Isle VFW will have BBQ available to purchase. Bring your chairs and blankets, your friends and guests to enjoy the music and dance while watching the sun set.
