We are thrilled to announce: The Hurly Burly Extravaganza & Refined Vaudeville Show: A Magical Evening of Wonders to Benefit Michael Secore and Family!

We are a village. And it's time to rally around a member of our village who needs our help.

Michael Secore and his family are struggling and need our support. He has a tumor wrapped around his carotid artery and has been fighting it for almost a year. But his illness has escalated and reached the point where he has no strength to work and his wife and children are struggling, valiantly caring for him and supporting him in his quest for healing, while trying to stay afloat and keep the bank from taking their home. In addition, Michael needs funds to help continue his course of treatment. Michael is a musician and his wife, Cecilia, an artist, and they are both known locally for their work. And many may know them from Cecilia’s years an instrumental member of the Nutty Steph’s team. They and their 6 children have been giving to our community for many years. Let's show the world that Vermont is truly a village where we support each other...while having a rollicking good time in the process!

So please join us in an evening of fun and frolic to benefit Michael and his family! On Saturday September 16 The Hurly Burly Extravaganza and Refined Vaudeville Show will land at the Shady Lady on Rte. 100B in Moretown (MoreFUN!), Vermont. This will be a vintage vaudeville hootenanny and festival of fun. Here are just some of the activities for the evening:
Silent and Live Auction; Live music: acts on stage and strolling musicians throughout the evening; Performers of all kinds (jugglers, hoopers, bubble blowers, and more!); Tarot reading by Linda River Valente; Hand analysis by the Amazing Kate
Cigarette-style girls, providing yummy hors d'oeuvres & some other fun surprises; Herbal mocktail cash bar; AND MORE!

$20 suggested donation per person, but give what you are able.

Eva Alexander Floral Design

Charlotte Root Nutritional Counseling
Charmed by Linda River Valente

We would love to add your business to this outpouring of love. To sponsor the event, please email Tara at tcmk@aya.yale.edu

Can't come to the event or don't have any funds to donate? We totally understand. But there are soooooo many other ways you can help:
-Loan us decorative items that fit the theme (Vaudeville/carnival/circus) and/or era (1890s-1920s)
-Help us spread the word by posting flyers/posters, sharing the event on Facebook, and helping us make any media connections that would get the word out to more folks
-Donate to the auction. We'll have both a silent and live auction, so no donation is too small or too large! Every bit helps!
-Ask your local businesses to donate an item or service for the auction
-Perform, if you are a juggler, magician, dancer, clown, hooper, et al. We have some AMAZING folks already, but we need more!
-Volunteer: we still need set-up and break-down help; parking attendants; mocktail "bartenders"; help at the door

There is also an online fundraiser for the family. Donations of any size are much appreciated:
