Fun Way to Help Our Community

GREAT ODDS to WIN $4000 and a sure fire way to help our community! By buying a $10 ticket you have a greater than 1 in 1200 chance of winning.

The Charlotte-Shelburne-Hinesburg Rotary’s ANNUAL GOLF BALL DROP will be held on Shelburne Day, August 19 (after the Farmer’s Market, on the Little League Field next to the Shelburne Fire Station). Your purchase of a $10 ticket entitles you to one numbered golf ball in our 2017 Golf Ball Drop. The balls will be dropped from the sky (ok, a bucket loader or something pretty cool.)

Ball Closest to the Hole wins $4,000! 2nd Closest wins $500! 3rd Closest wins $250!
Furthest wins $250!

YOUR LUCKY TICKET: Tickets are $10/each or 10 for $90. For information and to purchase your ticket(s), contact John Dupee at 862-8788 or me, Erik at 802-825-1976. We're also selling tickets at our booth in the center of the Shelburne Farmer's Market on Saturdays August 5, 12, and 19 from 9 AM - 1 PM.

MORE DETAILS: You need not be present to win! A ball will be dropped for each ticket sold. Each ticket number corresponds with a numbered ball. “An independent panel of judges” will determine the winners. The winners will be announced at the event and their names will be posted on the club’s website (www.charlotteshelburnerotary.org). All entrants must be 18 or older.

HOW DOES THIS BENEFIT OUR COMMUNITY? Net proceeds fund Charlotte-Shelburne-Hinesburg Rotary Club’s many community service projects and charitable activities. Recent funding examples include: This summer’s new “Food That’s in When School is Out!” program at the grade school; Shelburne, Charlotte and Hinesburg food shelves; the Hands to Honduras project; the Shelburne Veterans’ Memorial; Meals on Wheels; college scholarships to local students; Christmas turkeys; Meals on Wheels; the Burlington Emergency Shelter; local Cub and Boy Scouts; and many more worthy programs.

WHAT IS ROTARY? “Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.
