The Vermont men's hockey team will host Military Appreciation Night on Sunday, Nov. 24 during its home game against UMass Amherst at 4 p.m. at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The team will wear special camouflage jerseys and will hold a post-game Skate with the Cats.
The team's game-worn camouflage jerseys are being auctioned off now at auction.uvmathletics.com with bids starting at $150 per jersey. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Vermont Veterans Fund (VVF)
Special camouflage Vermont merchandise will be sold to benefit the charity organization Operation Hat Trick, which generates awareness, support, and funding for the recovery of America's wounded warriors, both active service members and veterans. Proceeds from the sale of Operation Hat Trick merchandise will be distributed to selected organizations that provide direct services to our wounded warriors.
A special group rate of $10 per general admission ticket is available for military and their family members.
