I don't know if there's anyone in Craftsbury better known than our own Sonny Sweatt. He's been a master craftsman all his life - houses, ponds, bandstands, woodcarvings, sugaring, etc. etc. - and he and daughter Rhoda are always welcoming to the occasional visitor who might stop by their workshop for some casual conversation. All that to say that Sonny, his sister Ginny Hagan, and the two Moffatt lads Jimmy and Andy will be focus of attention at the Historical Society's upcoming event on Wednesday, July 19, 7 pm. We'll probably do it in the Library, since these folks will have all kinds of interesting stories and anecdotes to relate, so there's sure to be a crowd in attendance.
So, put it down on your calendars, and let your friends and neighbors who don't see Facebook know what will be happening: Wednesday, July 19, 7 pm at the Library. See you there.
