Black Market Bounty Storytelling & Potluck! Nov. 24

Past event
Nov 24, 2013, 6 to 8:30 PM

Come for a harvest potluck supper, and then be entertained and intrigued by true stories about Vermont’s veritable underground railroad of farm foods. Want a taste?

“How does one cup of raw milk drive two people in love completely insane?”

“If the farm was going out, I was going out playing by my own rules…”

“Breast milk truffles? I was all about it. As any human being can attest to, it’s very nourishing stuff…”

Rural Vermont presents "Black Market Bounty": Storytelling and Harvest Potluck, Sunday, November 24th, 6 - 8:30pm at the Unitarian Church, 130 Main Street, Montpelier. Farmers, food producers, and customers intrigue and entertain with true stories about making, raising, accessing, selling, and sourcing the best food you can’t buy. Free event - donations welcome and benefit Rural Vermont. More info at (802) 223-7222, mollie@ruralvermont.org, www.ruralvermont.org.
