June 10th is Worldwide Knit in Public Day (who knew?!) At Yarn & Yoga we are starting a wonderful project on that day: WELCOME BLANKETS for refugees. This national project will provide hand knitted blankets to refugees to this country, as a gesture of compassion and welcome. You can read more about the project at www.welcmeblanket.org.

We have patterns and lots of donated "swap basket" yarns and needles, and/or you can raid your own "stash." COME JOIN US! All are welcome, help will be provided, and we'll knit outside the shop, weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair if you can!
