Osher Lifelong Learning (OLLI) presents food writer Rowan Jacobsen on "The Heirloom Apple Revival" at the Aldrich Library in Barre at 1:30 pm. The award winning author of A Geography of Oysters, American Terroir, and other books on the connection of food to environment, will introduce and provide opportunities for tasting the many heirloom varieties of apples that are making a comeback in America.
