Connection Peer Support Group Facilitator Training

Register today to attend the FREE Connection Peer Support Group Facilitator training on May 20 & 21, in Barre, VT. NAMI Connection Support Group facilitators are trained NAMI leaders who facilitate 90-minute Recovery Support Group meetings. They play an important role in ensuring that all participants feel welcomed and supported. A NAMI facilitator ensures that the group shares responsibility for maintaining guidelines, sustains clear participant boundaries, clarifies goals, and reinforces communication skills that encourage group participation.

Who Should Attend: Individuals who have personal experience with mental health challenges and have reached a comfortable place in recovery. Participants should have attended the Connection Support Group meetings and agree to adhere to the NAMI Connection Support Group model.

NAMI Vermont can provide lodging*, mileage, meals, and materials for the training. To register, take one of these steps:
