Dear Neighbors,

The Fletcher Free Library invites community members, businesses, and organizations to participate in the 23rd Annual BOOKS FOR CHILDREN GIFT CAMPAIGN, which provides Burlington preschoolers from less advantaged families with new, quality picture books during the holiday season: November 12th-December 8th. Due to the incredible generosity of many of you last year we collected over 1,000 new picture books for children at COTS, Head Start of Chittenden County, the King Street Youth Program, Sara Holbrook, and the VNA Family Room! Crow Bookshop and Phoenix Books are both participating in our campaign and are offering you a 20% discount if you purchase books from them. You are welcome to purchase the books anywhere, but we are encouraging you to support our local bookstores and BUY LOCAL!

The Fletcher Free Library staff have compiled a list of suggested picture books for 3 or 4 year olds or you can choose your own titles. Crow Bookshop and Phoenix Books in downtown Burlington will have the list of suggested books. Please join us by making the 2013 Books for Children Gift Campaign another successful campaign!
