This Saturday, May 6th, is Green Up Day and Mayfest in Montpelier. If you'd like to help green up Montpelier's roadsides and public places, stop by Montpelier Alive's Green Up Day table at the Farmers Market on Saturday between 9am-1pm.

At the Green Up Day table, we'll provide you with Green Up Day bags, gloves, and will assign you a stretch of roadway to remove litter from. We'll also have coupon sheets for volunteers, which can be redeemed for goodies around town on Green Up Day.

Volunteers helping to green up Montpelier can leave full Green Up Day bags curbside within city limits. The good crew from the Montpelier Department of Public Works will pick up the bags next Monday morning. Thank you for helping to keep Montpelier clean and beautiful!
